Our new homes in Dunfermline are well connected. They are close enough to major roads, like the M90 and A985, that heading away from Dunfermline is quick and convenient. Reach Edinburgh in just 50 minutes; Stirling in 40 minutes; and Glasgow in an hour.

Benefit from a reliable public transport network, with rail connections available from Dunfermline City Railway Station nine minutes’ drive away. Alternatively, reach it in half an hour on foot. From here, easily access hotspots like Edinburgh, Leven, Cowdenbeath, and Glasgow Queen Street.

There are several bus stops just down the road. Routes span across the local area, including to Parkneuk, Dunfermline centre, Falkirk, Oakley, Alloa, and Bellyeoman – ideal for commuters.

The nearest airport is Edinburgh Airport, which is half an hour’s drive away or just over an hour when taking the train. As one of the main airports in Scotland, effortlessly jet off to sought-after destinations across the globe.

Parents will be pleased with choice of local schools. Milesmark Primary School and McLean Primary School are both a five-minute drive away for an easy drop-off. A little further out, Bellyeoman Primary School is two miles away from home.

Secondary school students can walk to Queen Anne High School in just 15 minutes, while further out, Dunfermline High School is a 10-minute drive away. Across town, Woodmill High School is a 17-minute drive away, offering Highers to older students. Further options for Highers include colleges like Fife College’s Dunfermline campus, which is five miles away.

The closest universities are Edinburgh Napier University and The University of Stirling; drive there in around half an hour. Reach many of Scotland’s favourite universities in an hour’s drive or under – Queen Margaret University, The University of Edinburgh, The University of Glasgow, and Glasgow Caledonian University.

Residents benefit from a convenience store half a mile away, perfect for nipping out for that extra carton of milk. Dunfermline centre is a mile-and-a-half away, with its bustling high streets offering independent cafes and restaurants with tastes from across the world and retail favourites lining the streets. For even more shopping opportunities, head to Kingsgate Shopping Centre.

13 minutes down the road, Halbeath Retail Park has a grocery superstore, as well as nationally recognised stores spanning across DIY, homeware and petcare, among others.
