Milton Keynes is purpose-built around a harmony of urban leisure, commerce, and amenity, striving for convenience from its conception. Located on the rural boundary of this modern city, Tattenhoe Meadows utilises the well-designed interconnectivity of the region, bringing shopping, culture, and leisure to the doorstep, whilst also harnessing the beauty of the surrounding Buckinghamshire countryside.

With the location emphasising green public space throughout urban development, residents are well connected to the outdoors. Tattenhoe Valley Park is an extensive green boundary to both the development and the city, with carved paths allowing for easy pedestrian and cycle access. The Priory Park Pavillion is also just minutes from the door – a local community centre overlooking a stunning natural space – while wider Milton Keynes is home to a wealth of lakes, each with their own sights and quirks to explore.

The city has plenty of leisure and culture, from family days out at Gulliver’s Land or Xscape Milton Keynes, to walks around Howe Park Wood and Linford Wood, and educational visits to Bletchley Park and the Milton Keynes Museum.

Parents raising families in Tattenhoe Meadows will find a well-regarded local schooling system on the doorstep with a variety of schools across the city.

Ducklings Preschool and Priory Rise School present options for young children on the doorstep, located within half a mile of the development. Giles Brook Primary School, Chestnuts Primary School, and Milton Keynes Preparatory School are within a short drive.

For older children, Shenley Brook End School is two miles away with local bus routes serving independent journeys. Additional options include The Hazeley Academy and Bridge Academy Central.

Milton Keynes College has several campuses, including one in Bletchley alongside the South Central Institute of Technology. The city also has campuses for Bedfordshire and Buckingham universities, a groundbreaking university hospital, and the headquarter campus for the innovative Open University. Additionally, Milton Keynes is located around the midpoint from both Oxford and Cambridge, meaning that two of the world’s most prestigious university institutions are within an hour’s commute.

Holborn Crescent bus stop is a 13-minute walk away, supplementing a route from Aylesbury to the east side of Milton Keynes reaching the city centre in around 20 minutes.

Motorists will find the A421 close by, leading to the A5 in eight minutes with good links to Dunstable and Hinckley, and the M1 in 17 minutes. The latter leads directly into central London in a little over an hour, passing the London Orbital Motorway after 30 minutes.

Bletchley train station is a 10-minute drive away, and Milton Keynes Central is 13 minutes away. Both offer regular journeys into London and Birmingham, while the latter has additional destinations including Liverpool and Manchester. Journey times to London typically take under 35 minutes depending on the service.

London Luton Airport is a 39-minute drive away for international travel, with London Heathrow a little over an hour away for a wider selection of destinations.

Residents are well supplied locally for amenities, with a supermarket half a mile away for everyday essentials, and Westcroft Retail Park a six-minute journey away in the car. Here, additional supermarket choice can be found along with discount shops, high-street retailers, out-of-town restaurants, and chain eateries, along with the Westcroft Library.

Milton Keynes has a wealth of concentrated shopping between the central train station and Campbell Park. Along these boulevards, a great variety of high-street brands and independent retail can be found, as well as extensive hospitality and dining. The popular centre:mk shopping centre has over 150 stores along with cafés, restaurants, and leisure facilities.

MK1 Shopping Park is a 12-minute drive away from the development, home to a number of larger retail stores, a multi-screen cinema, as well the city’s major events arena and football stadium.

Your monthly repayments

Repayment mortgage
What's this?
If you opt for a repayment mortgage, you will need to make monthly payments to your mortgage lender, which consist of a portion of the amount you originally borrowed (sometimes called the ‘capital balance’), as well as any interested that has been incurred on your loan.
Interest only mortgage
What's this?
Choosing an interest-only mortgage means that you will only need to make monthly payments towards the interest on the amount you originally borrowed. With this type of loan, you don’t need to repay any of the capital balance (the amount you borrowed to buy your home), for the duration of the interest only period.
